An inner urban household who are building a new studio at the rear of their property. They wanted design solutions for a complementary garden that would maximise productive growing space and create zones for entertaining and a native garden.

Vertical growing space was a priority in the design and pathways and a parterre were incorporated to introduce formality and geometry. An informal seating area was created overlooking the parterre. 3D design helped the clients to envisage the new garden and explore levels, wayfinding and entry points to the new studio.
