A townhouse with a small front garden and a courtyard at the back were reimagined to creatively incorporate the owners’ personalities and interests while providing practical solutions for utilities and access.

A curved deck and raised seating and garden bed form the main elements of the entertaining area. The clients report the small courtyard feeling more spacious. Permeable pebble paving and Corten edging enhance access to the rear garage and side of house. The front garden has better access to utilities like the bins. Curved Corten edging, a frog pond and a feature tree will enhance and update the entry to the house.

The garden has had the hardscape structural elements and garden beds installed. The owner has planted out the beds and continues to play in and develop the planting palette.
