his is a small verge garden in a new housing development. The client wanted to create a small verge garden in line with council regulations. She wanted to minimise lawn mowing and create a space to grow and share food with her neighbourhood community.

As well as raised wicking beds to grow and share herbs and veggies, the client wanted me to select a range of decorative shrubs and grasses. These were selected to be sustainable and hardy and are plants that are indigenous to the local creek environment.
