A 1950s gem complete with crazy paving retaining walls, very established trees, spiral column and giant old roses.

The client was very fond of this period of house and its quirky and iconic features. She had worked to improve the house and garden since purchasing but needed help to bring her vision for a more social and inviting front yard to fruition.

The idea was to terrace and level the sloped site to create a paved entertaining area that would interface with the street but be surrounded by a densely planted, mostly native garden.

The garden will be built in 2025.
